Wires and more wires! Last Update: June 5, 2009 11:46 PM

Turns out the CTS-V wiring harness is fairly different from my Camaro LS1 harness so I had to revisit the wiring schematics to see what needs to be hooked up between the CTS-V engine and Miata body harness.

Below is the wiring connector that goes to the CTS-V engine bay fuse box. This connector contains most of the wires that need to be hooked up to miata power. Pink and pink/black CTS-V wires go to switched power (white/red miata). The two red/white CTS-V wires go to constant power, I choose the now unused fuel inj 30amp green/red wire from the miata engine bay fuse box.

For the throttle to work with the CTS-V PCM (engine computer), I needed to install the CTS-V drive-by-wire throttle pedal in place of the miata cable one. I removed the pedal assembly, cut off the old pedal and some tabs and welded the new pedal in so it lined up well. Its nearly in the same place as the stock miata one as you can see below.
